Voxx International, formerly Audiovox Corporation, is an American consumer electronics company founded in 1965 and headquartered in Hauppauge, New York. The company specializes in three areas: OEM and after-market automotive electronics, consumer electronics accessories, and consumer and commercial audio equipment.

Audiovox Painting

Audiovox products include mobile multi-media video products, including in-dash, OE radio, overhead, headrest and portable mobile video entertainment systems; autosound products, including radios, speakers, and amplifiers; satellite radios, including plug and play models and direct connect models; automotive security and remote start systems and smartphone interface modules; automotive power accessories; rear observation and collision avoidance systems; lane departure and forward collision systems, personal Navigation devices, and portable DVD players.

Accessories products include high-definition television HDTV Antennas; WiFi antennas; high-definition multimedia interface HDMI accessories; home electronic accessories, such as cabling; other connectivity products; power cords; performance enhancing electronics; Powerline connect system, television universal remotes; flat panel television mounting systems; iPod specialized products; wireless headphones; rechargeable battery backups (UPS) for camcorders, cordless phones and portable video (DVD) batteries and accessories as well as digital camcorders, MP3 players, Internet Radio products, digital voice recorders, clock radios, digital picture frames, under-the-cabinet TVs and home and portable shelf systems.

In 2013 Audiovox developed the app for a new accessory device called Shutterball. Cellcom Communications holds the exclusive rights to the device.

Restatements

On March 14, 2003, Audiovox said it planned to restate results for the first three quarters of fiscal 2002, following a review of the effect of the FASB's Emerging Issues Task Force regulations on its statements. The restatement would lower revenue by about $462,000 and increase income by $36,000. On April 15, 2003, Audiovox announced to restate results for fiscal years 2000, 2001, and the first three quarters of fiscal 2002.
