Air-to air-photo of Patrick Laverty on May 24, 2009 over Talybont, Ceredigion, Wales, U.K. On this day, Laverty broke the foot-launched powered hang glider (FLPHG) altitude world record by flying to an altitude of 5,348m above sea level. The hang glider was an Aeros Discus 15 and the harness was equipped with a carburated 29hp ROS 125 engine.
