Lindsayomyrtus is a genus of a sole recognised, formally described species of large Australian trees, constituting part of the plant family Myrtaceae.[1][2] Lindsayomyrtus racemoides, the species, has the common name Daintree penda.[1][3][4][5] These large trees grow naturally in the rainforests of the Wet Tropics region (north–eastern Queensland) of Australia, the Moluccas, New Guinea and New Britain.[1][2][3][4][5]
