The President of the National Council is the presiding officer (speaker) of the National Council, the first chamber of the Austrian Parliament. The Second President is Karlheinz Kopf (ÖVP), following the death of Barbara Prammer (SPÖ). Norbert Hofer (FPÖ) is the Third President.
