Artesonado

Artesonado is the name for a highly decorative coffered wooden ceiling in Spanish mudéjar architecture. Examples are the ceilings in Throne room of the Aljafería (Zaragoza), Alhambra (Granada), the Chapterhouse of the Toledo Cathedral and the Royal Convent of Santa Clara (Tordesillas)
