Brinsworth House is a luxury retirement home for British artists connected with theatre or entertainment,[1] at Staines Road in Twickenham, west London, England. The mansion has 36 bedrooms, 6 living rooms, a library, an in-house bar and stage, and has a regular staff of 64 attendants.

History

Built in 1850, Brinsworth House was opened as a retirement home in 1911.[1] It is owned and maintained by the Entertainment Artistes' Benevolent Fund (EABF), founded in 1908 to care for members of what was at that time the variety and music hall profession. The EABF and the house are funded by the Royal Variety Performance, voluntary donations and, since 2007, part-proceeds from phone voting from ITV's Britain's Got Talent.[1]
