The private school, Centro Machiavelli which teaches Italian language and culture to foreigners, is located in the historic center of Florence, in Piazza Santo Spirito where there is the Basilica of the Holy Spirit.

Founded in 1978, it is a reference point for young people and adults who want to learn or improve their knowledge of the language and to get to know the culture, customs and traditions of Italy. The contents of the programs of study are based on the C.E.F.R (European Framework of Reference for Languages).

The school also arranges an extensive program of extra-curricular cultural activities. As well as general and specialized language courses, the school also offers arts and crafts practical courses and cooking lessons.

  • Officially acknowledged by the Ministry of Education, University and Scientific Research of Italy (Prot. N° 3762).
  • Certification for quality management systems (ISO 9001:2008).
  • Training organisation accredited by the Region of Tuscany (DGR 5879 - 10/12/2008 code FI0509).[1]
  • Recognized by CSN (Swedish National Agency).
  • Recognized for Bildungsurlaub; Regions of Hamburg and Berlin.
