Movies 24 is a UK television channel owned and operated by NBCUniversal. It was launched on 26 June 2008 and available in England, Movies 24 airs made-for-TV movies. On 7 September 2015, it refreshed its brand identity to align itself with the feel-good movie content it airs all-day, every day. From Summer Weddings to Winter Warmers, Movies 24 offers daily feel-good content, all-year round, inviting viewers to a place where ‘Life is as it should be’. The channel celebrates family and friendship and aims to strip away the complexities and stresses of viewers’ lives and refocus on the important things life.

From 2009, Movies 24 has rebranded as Christmas 24 between November and January, offering viewers movies that remind people that Christmas is a time of wonder, magic, family, love and togetherness.

Movies 24 +

On 16 October 2006,a sister channel Movies 24 + was launched. The channel was previously a 90-minute timeshift channel called More 24.[1] In September 2007, Movies 24 + introduced a separate daily schedule from Movies 24, showing the same movies but at very different times throughout the day.[2]
