  6. 6.0 6.1 6.2 6.3 Mersin Polisgücü appears as Silifkespor in TFF report. Indeed Mersin Polisgücü has changed its name several times. The team attended in 1992–93 and 1993–94 Turkish Third Football Leagues as İçel Polisgücü; 1994–95 Turkish Second Football League as Mersin Polisgücü and 1995–96 Turkish Second Football League as Mersinspor. And starting from 1996–97 to 2001–02 it attended in Turkish Third Football League as Silifkespor. Since 2002–03 season team has been playing in Mersin amateur leagues. There was another team representing Silifke with the same name, which attended in 1991–92 Turkish Third Football League as Silifkespor and changed its name to Silifke Belediyespor following season and relegated from 1992–93 Turkish Third Football League. In that season there are two teams appearing with Silifke name in TFF Third League Group 4 page. The one which appears as Silifkespor was then İçel Polisgücü. The one appearing as Silifke Belediyespor is former Silifkespor. Because of the structure of TFF web database, when a team changed its name, its name in previous seasons also changed.
