The 2013 Football League Two play-off final was a football match contested by Bradford City and Northampton Town on 18 May 2013 at Wembley Stadium to decide the fourth and final team to be promoted from League Two to League One for the 2013–14 season.[2] The two teams had earned their place in the final with aggregate victories over the two-legged semi-finals.[3]
Bradford City won the game 3–0, with all three goals scored in the opening 28 minutes, to return to League One after a seven-year absence. It was their second appearance at Wembley during the season, having reached the League Cup Final.[4][5][6]
