Abbani is a village in the southern state of Karnataka, India.[1][2] It is located in the Kolar taluk of Kolar district in Karnataka.

A.N.Prahlada rao Writer, Poet, Crossword creator is from this village. He belongs to a rich cultured family Duggaraja. His grand father shanbog G.Ramaiah was also a poet.
