Agano Station (吾野駅 Agano-eki?) is a railway station in Hannō, Saitama, Japan, operated by the private railway operator Seibu Railway.

Lines

Agano forms the boundary between the Seibu Ikebukuro Line from Ikebukuro in Tokyo and the Seibu Chichibu Line to Seibu-Chichibu Station.

History

The station opened on 10 September 1929.[1]

Station numbering was introduced on all Seibu Railway lines during fiscal 2012, with Agano Station becoming "SI31".[2]

Passenger statistics

In fiscal 2013, the station was the 87th busiest on the Seibu network with an average of 756 passengers daily.[3]
