Angola is scheduled to compete at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo from 24 July to 9 August 2020. It will be the nation's tenth appearance at the Summer Olympics, with the exception of the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, because of its support of the Soviet boycott.

Angola women's handball team qualified for the Olympics by winning the gold medal and securing an outright berth at the final match of the 2018 African Championships in Brazzaville, Republic of the Congo.[1]
