Ann Walton Kroenke (born December 18, 1948)[5][1][2][3] is an heiress to the Wal-Mart fortune. Kroenke and her sister, Nancy Walton Laurie, inherited stock from her father, Bud Walton (died 1995), who was brother and an early business partner of Wal-Mart founder Sam Walton.
Her husband, Stan Kroenke, is a real estate developer; he is majority owner of the Los Angeles Rams (NFL), Arsenal (Premier League, English football (soccer))[6] Colorado Rapids (Major League Soccer), and Colorado Mammoth (National Lacrosse League).
In October 7, 2015, Stanley transferred ownership of the Colorado Avalanche (NHL) and Denver Nuggets (NBA) to a family trust due to the NFL cross-ownership rules.[7]
