Bill Mauk

Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'strict' not found. Bill Mauk is an attorney from Boise, Idaho. Mauk was the 1998 Democratic nominee for the open United States Senate seat in Idaho[1] vacated by Dirk Kempthorne. He was defeated by Republican Congressman Mike Crapo.

Mauk is locally noted as a prominent defense attorney. In the 1980s he represented Claude Dallas during his trial for the 1981 murder of two Idaho Fish and Game officers.[2]

In the 1990s Mauk served as chairman of the Idaho Democratic Party.[citation needed]
