Blandy Benjamin Clarkson (March 15, 1890 – December 2, 1954) was the 16th head football coach for the Virginia Military Institute Keydets located in Lexington, Virginia and he held that position for seven seasons, from 1920 until 1926. His career coaching record at VMI was 44 wins, 21 losses, and 2 ties. This ranks him third at VMI in total wins and sixth at VMI in winning percentage.[2] Clarkson is also the longest serving athletic director in VMI history, having served from 1926 to 1946.[3]
