Bothell High School is located in Bothell, Washington, USA, and is one of three high schools in the Northshore School District. Approximately 1,500 students in grades 10 through 12 attend the school.
Science Olympiad
The Bothell High School Science Olympiad team were placed first in the State competition in 2007, 2008, and 2009, going to the National competition. In 2007, Bothell High placed 28th at Nationals, in 2008, they placed 17th, and in 2009, 15th. The Science Olympiad team has taken 2nd place at the State tournament during 2010 and 2011.[2]
Bothell Football
The Bothell Cougars won the WIAA State Championship football game in the fall of the year 2014. Bothell High School beat Chiawana High School (Pasco, Washington) 24-14 to capture their first ever state championship title in football. The win was the ultimate summation of a perfect 14-0 season. The championship game was hosted at the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Washington.[3]
