History
Bottesford Town was formed in 1974 and began life in local Lincolnshire football. After a spell in the Lincolnshire League they stepped up to the Central Midlands League in 2000, winning the Premier Division in their debut season. However, after two unsuccessful seasons in the Supreme Division they found themselves back in the Premier Division.[1] They managed to regain their place in the Supreme Division in 2006 and won that league the following season, earning promotion to the Northern Counties East League.[2] and have played in that league's first division ever since.
