Country Calendar is a television series covering rural life in New Zealand. Established in March 1966 and screening every year since, it is New Zealand's longest-running television series.[1] It is currently being shown for 40 weeks of the year at 7 pm Saturdays on Television New Zealand's TV ONE, and the last three seasons' episodes are also available on-demand worldwide through TVNZ ondemand.

Tony Trotter was the producer from 1974 to 1982 and was followed by Frank Torley, who produced the show for 23 years and is now the narrator. The current producer is Julian O'Brien, with associate producer Dan Henry. Both are directors on the programme, along with Katherine Edmond, Kerryanne Evans, Michael Huddleston, Celia Jaspers, Richard Langston, Roz Mason, Howard Taylor and Vicki Wilkinson-Baker. The researcher since 2007 has been Vivienne Jeffs.

The Country Calendar theme song is from the song "Hillbilly Child" by the Alan Moorhouse Band. Hyundai has naming rights to the show. Previous sponsors have included The National Bank, financial services company AMP and Tux dog biscuits.
