Dale Mitchell (born April 9, 1989) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player. He is currently playing for the Odense Bulldogs.

Playing career
Mitchell was chosen 74th overall in the third round by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft from the Oshawa Generals of the Ontario Hockey League.
He attended Streetsville Secondary School in Mississauga, where he played for the Streetsville Tigers. Mitchell, with his mentor and linemate Cam Lindsay, were able to bring Streetsville their only hockey gold medal to date. Mitchell scored hat tricks in come from behind wins in both the semi-final over the Iona Dolphins and final, including the tying and winning goals late in the third period, in a 4-3 win over the Cawthra Park Panthers. The 04/05 hockey team and the play-off run is still regarded as one of the greatest in the school's history. He was named the teams MVP at season's end.
Mitchell signed an entry level contract with the Maple Leafs on May 4, 2008, and was subsequently sent down to the Marlies during their 2007–08 AHL playoff run. Mitchell spends his summers training with the Prairie Dogs in the MAHL.[1]
Mitchell returned to the OHL in the 2008–09 season with the Windsor Spitfires.
After attending the Maple Leafs' 2009 pre-season training camp, Mitchell was assigned to the Marlies on September 19, 2009.[2] Shortly after 9 games to start the 2009–10 AHL season with the Marlies, he was demoted back to junior, relinking with the Spitfires. As a member of the Spitfires, Mitchell won back to back Memorial Cups
On August 5, 2012, Mitchell signed to a one-year contract with EC Dornbirner of the Austrian Hockey League. He finished the season third in team scoring, with 39 points (13 goals, 26 assists) in 52 games.
Since the summer of 2008 Mitchell spends his summers playing for the Prairie Dogs in the Streetsville Hockey League (SHL). Dale has helped the Prairie Dogs win three league titles (2010, 2011 and 2015).
On September 24, 2013, Mitchell returned to North America, signing with the San Francisco Bulls of the ECHL. On January 27, 2014, however, the San Francisco Bulls announced they were ceasing operations effective immediately, leaving Mitchell and all players on an ECHL contract with San Francisco as free agents.[3] He then signed with Dornbirner EC of the Erste Bank Eishockey Liga in Austria.
For the 2014/15 season, Mitchell signed with the Odense Bulldogs of the Metal Ligaen in Denmark.
