December is the sixteenth album by the rock group, The Moody Blues. The Christmas themed album released in 2003 is their most current album of new material and their first album since The Magnificent Moodies to feature covers as well as original material. It is also their first album following Ray Thomas' retirement from the band and their final studio release (other than compilations) as Justin Hayward confirmed in 2016.[2]
