Doug Sams (born July 12, 1955) is a gridiron football coach and former player. He is currently the offensive coordinator for the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League (CFL), a position he assumed in January 2013. Sams served as the head football coach at Urbana University in 1988, Fairmont State University from 1992 to 2001, and Northern Michigan University from 2002 to 2005.
