Frances Eleanor "Ellie" Smith (born 1996) is an American beauty pageant titleholder from Henderson, Nevada who was named Miss Nevada 2014.[1]
Biography
She won the title of Miss Nevada on June 1, 2014, when she received her crown from outgoing titleholder Diana Sweeney. Smith's platform is "Bullying: Don't Let It Get to You" and she said she hoped to engage in anti-bullying activism during her reign as Miss Nevada. Smith is an incoming freshman at Brigham Young University. Smith's younger sister, Amy Smith was crowned Miss Nevada's Outstanding Teen the same night Ellie Smith later won the Miss Nevada title, marking the first time in Miss Nevada history that a pair of sisters had won both the Miss and Teen titles in the same year.[2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9]
