Engelbert Calling is the 46th studio album by singer Engelbert Humperdinck, released in 2014.

Background

In January of 2012, news came out about a new album in the works.[1] In November that year, it was revealed that Sir Elton John dueted with Engelbert on the upcoming album.[2] Later news items on Engelbert's official website would mention other collaborators, and that it would be an album of duets.[3]

Packaging and Title

This was a double-CD package with an 8-page booklet. The cover mentions 2 very special bonus tracks, which are duets with his daughter Louise Dorsey and son Bradley Dorsey.

Release

Engelbert Calling was released in the UK by Conehead UK on March 17, 2014[4], and in the US by OK! Good Records on September 30, 2014.[5] That same year OK! Good also released an abridged single CD version of the album in the US,[6] although it was only available as a separate purchase on November 18, 2015.[7] On May 4, 2015 OK! Good Records released a limited edition 7" colored vinyl Duets EP featuring 4 of the tracks, Engelbert's first vinyl release in more than 25 years.[8]
