Faculty of Law, (Hindi: विधि संकाय) (a.k.a Law faculty) is a faculty in the Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India which offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate courses in Legal education. It was founded in 1922.[1][2]

History

Started in 1922, Faculty of Law was one of the first faculties in the Banaras Hindu University. Initially started as an evening college in two borrowed rooms in the Faculty of Arts, the Law Faculty only had part time teachers; mostly advocates from Allahabad High Court.
