The Great West League (GWL) is a collegiate summer baseball league founded in 2014, comprising teams from California and Oregon. The league is designed to develop college talent, and only current college eligible players are allowed to participate. League teams are operated just like professional minor league teams. The GWL season runs from early June to mid-August.
