Heichal Shlomo
Heichal Shlomo (Hekhal of Solomon: Hebrew: <templatestyles src="Script/styles_hebrew.css" />היכל שְׁלֹמֹה, Heikhal Shlomo; meaning 'Palace of Solomon') located adjacent to the Great Synagogue on King George Street, Jerusalem, was the former seat of the Chief Rabbinate of Israel. The building currently contains the Jewish Heritage Museum, Renanim Synagogue, office space and an auditorium. It is opposite the Leonardo Plaza Hotel Jerusalem. Building was completed in 1958.
In 2009, Pope Benedict XVI made a visit to the area.[1]
