Herbert Walther Award

The Herbert Walther Award recognizes “distinguished contributions in quantum optics and atomic physics,” and it awarded by The Optical Society and the German Physical Society in alternating years. The award was created in 2008 and is named after Herbert Walther and commemorates his significant contributions and discoveries in the field of optics and physics. Past winners include Peter Zoeller [1] and Marlan Scully. ]] [2]
