Heris County (Persian: شهرستان هریس) is a county in East Azerbaijan Province in Iran. The capital of the county is Heris. At the 2006 census, the county's population was 67,626, in 15,916 families.[1] The county is subdivided into two districts: the Central District and Khvajeh District. The county has five cities: Heris, Khvajeh, Zarnaq, Bakhshayesh, and Kolvanaq.
