Inna Iosifovna Gulaya (Russian: И́нна Ио́сифовна Гула́я; 9 May 1940, Kharkiv – 27 May 1990, Moscow) was a Soviet theatre and cinema actress and Meritorious Artist of the RSFSR.
Life
After graduate school, she joined the studio at the Central Children's Theater. Between 1962 and 1964, Gulaya studied at Shchukin's Drama Institute.
Her husband, Gennady Shpalikov, a heavy drinker, hanged himself in 1974. Gulaya committed suicide sixteen years later. According to one investigation, the cause of her death was the overdose of sleeping pills.
