Jack Robert Culcay-Keth (born September 26, 1985 in Ambato, Ecuador) is an Ecuadorian-German professional boxer. As an amateur he fought at the 2008 Summer Olympics in the men's welterweight division, won a Silver medal at the European Championships 2008 and the Gold at the 2009 World Amateur Boxing Championships representing Germany. Currently (May 2015), he holds the interim WBA Light Middleweight title.

Amateur career

Culcay Keth who starts for TG 75 Darmstadt was relatively unknown in 2007, not even German titleholder and had only a second place finish at the Chemistry Cup tournament 2007 to his credit when he was sent to the 2007 World Amateur Boxing Championships. But while all the German topfighters exited early he and middleweight Konstantin Buga were the only ones to reach the quarterfinal qualify for Beijing. Culcay beat Jetmir Kuci and Zoran Mitrovic then he lost to eventual American winner Demetrius Andrade. At the Olympics he was edged out in his first bout by Kim Jung-Joo.[2]
