Jean-Marie Vidal

Jean-Marie-Joseph-Louis-Jules Vidal (19 September 1872 – 2 January 1940) was a French Roman Catholic priest and historian.
Biography
Jean-Marie Vidal was born at Albiez in the department of Ariège. He was prelate of the Diocese of Pamiers (later prelate of His Holiness, 1927; and protonotary apostolic, 1933).
He was rector of Saint-Louis-des-Français in Moscow (1912–1920), then of Church of Saint Ivo of the Bretons in Rome (1920–1931), and canonist counselor at the French Embassy to the Holy See (from 1931).
Jean-Marie Vidal also wrote in Occitan dialect under the pseudonym K. Scado.
