Joe Meara (born 4 August 1975) is a former professional snooker player from Northern Ireland.
Career summary
He spent three seasons as a professional,[1] as well as entering in the preliminary rounds of the World Snooker Championship and Masters Qualifying Event as an amateur.[1] His most successful season was in 2003/2004, where his best ranking finish was in the last 80 of the 2004 European Open.[1] He qualified for the 2011/2012 professional Main Tour by topping the Northern Ireland rankings,[3] however dropped off the tour at the end of that season after playing a limited schedule due to financial issues and lost every match he played.[3]
