Johnny Antonio Taylor (born June 4, 1974) is an American professional basketball player, formerly in the NBA. A 6'9" small forward from the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga, Johnny Taylor was selected 17th overall in the 1997 NBA Draft by the Orlando Magic. In his brief NBA career he played with the Magic (1997–98 and 1999-00) and the Denver Nuggets (1998-00); his last appearance in an NBA game was in April 2000. He was under contract for a brief period with Chicago Bulls (2000 preseason) and Portland Trail Blazers (2001 preseason), but has not played in NBA games for these clubs.
He has played professionally in Italy for Adecco Milano (2000–2001) and in the Philippine Basketball Association.[1]
Taylor later played professionally in Bahrain.[2]
