KTEA is an Oldies and Classic Top 40 formatted broadcast radio station licensed to Cambria, California, serving Northeast San Luis Obispo County, California.[1] KTEA is owned and operated by Adelman Broadcasting.[2]

History

KTEA dropped its longtime standards format for soft adult contemporary as "Magic 103.5" on August 27, 2012, as James Kampschroer leased the station to Post Rock Communications. The callsign changed to KMGQ. Less than two months later, Kampschroer re-assumed control of his station and restored the previous standards format.[3] On November 20, 2012, the call sign reverted to KTEA.

On March 31, 2014, the station was sold to Robert Adelman's Adelman Broadcasting, Inc., for a purchase price of $200,000.
