Kinah or qinah (plural kinoth, qinot, qinoth) is Hebrew for dirge or lamentation. Its general meaning is a dirge or lament, especially as sung by Jewish professional mourning women. Specifically, it refers to a Hebrew elegy chanted traditionally on the Ninth of Ab.

Kinah was also a city in the extreme south of Judah (Joshua 15:22). It was probably not far from the Dead Sea, in the Wady Fikreh.

Kinah is also the term for coins in the Aion: The Tower of Eternity MMO. This article incorporates text from a publication now in the public domainLua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'strict' not found.
