Markaz Knowledge City is a city project of Markaz[2] in Kozhikode, Kerala.[3][4] The master plan was launched by the Chief Minister of Kerala, Sri. Oommen Chandy, on .[5] and Minister of Industries and Information Technology of Government of Kerala P.K Kunhalikutty was laid the foundation stone for the IT Park and Minister for Health and Family Welfare of Keraka V.S Sivakumar foundation stone for Unani Medical college and Deputy leader of opposition of Kerala Kodiyeri Balakrishnan laid the foundation stone for the Engineering students hostel[6] and Member of Parliament of the 16th Lok Sabha of India M.I Shanavas, Former union Minister of India C.M Ibrahim, P.S Sreedharan Pillai of BJP, Minister of Urban Affairs, Town Planning, Development Authority and Minority Welfare of Government of Kerala Manjalamkuzhi Ali, Minister of Public Works of the Government of Kerala V.K Ebrahimkunju, Minister for Panchayats and Social Welfare of Kerala M.K Muneer, P.T.A Rahim MLA, VC of Markaz Dr. Hussain Saqafi, GM of Markaz C. Muhammed Faizy, Director of Markaz and MD of the Knowledge City Dr. A.P Abdul Hakeem Azhari also delivered felicitation speech in the function. The foundation stone for the project was laid by President of the Samastha Kerala Sunni Jamiyyathul Ulama, Taj-ul Ulama Sayyid Abdurrahman Albukhari[7] on December 24, 2012. The project cost is estimated at 10 Millions.[8][9]

Markaz Law College is a centre of higher legal education in Kozhikode. Currently locate at Markaz main campus. the college is affiliated to the University of Calicut[17] and is recognized by the Bar Council of India. It offers integrated five-year course BBA with Bachelor of Laws and tree-year cource LLB. P.S Gopi is theprincipal of the Law College.[18]

It is located at National Highway 766 (India).
