History
During the second Canut revolt Le Réparateur published in two sheets an account of the events of the 9th, 10th and 11th of the month of April. A third sheet was about to go to press, when ten soldiers of the engineer corps, bearing an order from their colonel, went to the printing works of the paper to break the plate. The paper filed a complaint. Magistrate Michel Charles Chégaray chose not to press charges.
