Médée Bay is a natural bay off the island of Newfoundland in the province of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.[1] It faces the modern village and archeological site of L'Anse aux Meadows, whose original name Anse à la Médée ("The Médée's Cove") was first recorded on a 1862 French nautical chart and came from a ship named after the Greek mythological figure of Medea.[2]
