Majra is a village in the Jhajjar district of the Indian state of Haryana. Part of Beri tehsil, As of the 2011 Census of India[update], the village had 1,804 households with a total population of 9,367 of which 5,003 were male and 4,364 female.[1] The population largely consists of Kadian, Beniwal and Gaud gotras. The annual "Baba Shaym Ji and Baba Mohan Dass Ji Fair" is held two days before the Hindu festival of Holi.
In history, more than 100 persons fought in World War II and 17 give up their lives.[citation needed]
