The Asian island nation of Maldives competed at the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London, United Kingdom from 27 July to 12 August 2012. This was the nation's seventh consecutive appearance at the Olympics.
Five Maldivian athletes were selected to the team, competing only in 3 different sports. Mohamed Ajfan Rasheed, the first Maldivian badminton player to compete at the Olympics, was the nation's flag bearer during the opening ceremony. Maldives, however, has yet to win its first ever Olympic medal.
