The Steve Prescott Man of Steel Awards is an end-of-season awards dinner for the Super League rugby league competition. The event's name is taken from the main award presented, the Man of Steel award for the rugby league football player of the year. In 2014, it was renamed after Steve Prescott.

Awarded for Best player of the Super League season
Country United Kingdom
Presented by Rugby Football League
First awarded 1977
Currently held by Zak Hardaker

Started in 1977, the Man of Steel Award annually honours the outstanding player in the British game. Originally voted on by members of the Rugby Football League press and, from 2008, by Super League players themselves, the award has often bypassed the top try scorer, winning captain or great International player.[citation needed] The award is club and country blind - the success of the player's club is irrelevant and winners include Australians and a New Zealander.
