"Mess Up My Hair"
Song

"Mess Up My Hair" is an R&B, hip hop, dancehall and synthpop song by American recording artist Mýa. It served as Harrison’s fourth U.S. digital single from her sixth studio album K.I.S.S. (Keep It Sexy & Simple) (2011). Written and composed by The Pen Up Dolls (Lindsay “Lindz” Fields and Nia Myricks) and Harrison herself with production by Young Yonny & Desmond J. "BigHeadDez" Peterson, the song drew comparisons to Rihanna’s What's My Name? (2010). Its remix version featured a guest appearance from dancehall artist Beenie Man, whom Harrison has collaborated with before on Girls Dem Sugar (2000) and appears on K.I.S.S. International Edition.[1]

Mess Up My Hair was released to iTunes on February 7, 2012.
