Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Mega Battle is a video game based on the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers television series. It was first announced in October 2016.[1] It was released on January 17, 2017.[2]
Gameplay
The game takes players through the first two seasons of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Up to four players can play as any of the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (Jason, Zach, Trini, Kimberly, Billy or Tommy) and features Rita Repulsa's army of monsters.[3]
King Sphinx, a monster from the 4th episode of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, is a boss in the game.[4]
Reception
The game was given a score of 5.5/10 by Worthplaying.[5] Metacritic gave the game a 49% rating based on 19 critics.[6] On Gamespot, the game was given a score of 6.7/10 based on 10 ratings.[7]
