Minicynodon (meaning 'small Cynodon') is a genus of carnivorous brasilodontid cynodont from the Late Triassic period. It lived during the late Triassic period (Carnian to Norian stage) in what is now Faxinal do Soturno, Rio Grande do Sul, southern Brazil. It is known from the holotype UFRGS PV 1030 T, a partial skull, recovered from the middle section of the Caturrita Formation, in paleorrota geopark.
