Moscow Five was a Russian professional esports organization which was founded in 2001. The organization has teams in Counter-Strike, WarCraft, FIFA, and LoL. On December 16, 2011, Moscow 5 created what one could describe as one of the most successful international teams in the history of League of Legends.[1] In 2013 former Moscow 5 owner Dmitry 'ddd1ms' Smilianets was arrested for his alleged involvement in "one of the largest" hacking and data breach schemes history in a global operation by the FBI’s Cyber Division.[2] Former Moscow 5’s LoL team quickly reformed as Gambit Gaming under Pikiner’s leadership.
In World Cyber Games 2011 Moscow 5’s Counter-Strike team won bronze.
