Mu Hydrae is a star in the constellation Hydra. Its apparent magnitude is 3.81.[2] Located around 71.79 parsecs (234.1 ly) distant,[1] the primary is an orange giant of spectral type K4III,[3] a star that has used up its core hydrogen and has expanded.
