Northern Railroad (New York)

Lua error in package.lua at line 80: module 'strict' not found. The Northern Railroad was incorporated on May 14, 1845. The first refrigerated boxcar, or "reefer" entered service on the NRNY in June, 1851. The company was acquired by the Rutland Railroad on August 1, 1865.
