Nucet (Romanian pronunciation: [nuˈt͡ʃet]; Hungarian: Diófás) is a town in Bihor County, western Transylvania, Romania. Its name means "walnut trees" both in Romanian and Hungarian. It administers two villages, Băiţa (Rézbánya) and Băiţa-Plai.
