Oriflame Holding AG (Switzerland) (until mid-2015 "Oriflame Cosmetics S.A.", Luxembourg) is a company, founded in 1967 in Sweden by the brothers Jonas af Jochnick and Robert af Jochnick, and publicly traded at NASDAQ OMX since 2004. The company sells personal care, accessories and nutritional products online and direct.[1]

History

Oriflame Cosmetics is an international cosmetics company, which uses multi-level marketing to sell directly to customers. The company began operations in 1967 in Sweden and today has a presence in over 62 countries worldwide. The company has over 3.0 million marketing associates worldwide with annual sales of €1.365 billion.[citation needed].

The brand is named for the Oriflamme, the royal banner of medieval France.[2]
